Q. What does SOS stand for?
A. This question has been the cause for debate for many years, so we
are going to set the question to rest once and for all. SOS, when used as a distress signal, stands for "Save
Our Site".
Q. I know SOS Web Design is inexpensive, but does
that mean that I will get worse service than if I went to a company
that costs twice as much?
A. No, SOS Web Design will provide you with the absolute highest quality service
anywhere, guaranteed. There is no need to go to a company that charges
$450 for a template web site.
Q. What is the process to sign
up for web design services?
A. After reading about the services on our
Services page, you then e-mail sales@soswd.com.
We will then send you a document that has a more detailed explanation
of the services you are interested in. If you decide to continue
through with your agreement, we will then build a package with you and send a contract to sign.
After receiving the completed contract, we will begin work on your
site.
Q. What payment forms does SOS
Web Design accept?
We currently only accept checks and money orders, mailed to our
address.
Q. Does SOS Web Design provide web site
hosting?
A. No, SOS Web Design does not provide hosting. However, we do have a list of
preferred hosting providers and can recommend one to you that is a
good match for your web site.
Q. Does SOS Web Design provide technical support.
A. Yes, we provide e-mail technical support to problems and questions
related to our services.
Q. I want Flash in my website or something SOS Web Design does not offer.
A. SOS Web Design
does not provide Flash or heavily dynamic website design. We believe it is difficult for the internet to support that for at least a few more years. However, if you do want a Flash site, e-mail sales@soswd.com and we will set up a contact with a trusted partner who can provide it.
Q. What web browser is best for the SOS Web Design site?
A. SOS Web Design reccomends Firefox. This broswer is more secure, faster and works best with the SOS Web Design site. Most other modern browser will work though.
